Utah Blizzards

During the time when the Utah Hockey Club (now Utah Mammoths) were in the process of rebranding. A collaboration of designers created a branding idea for the name Utah Blizzards. A package of brand stationary, a brand book guide, and a VIP package design.

The logo inspiration is of the polar bear, Billy Blizzard. Inspired by the bear’s strength, resilience, and powerful presence, the team adopted him as a symbol of their identity. Fiercer than fierce, colder than ice, and heart of a champion. The collaboration on this project was one that was fun when it lasted. The Blizzards is still a good idea for a Utah hockey team.
